Recycling bins in chalet - especially separate food waste bin

Debbie made sure we were comfortable and assisted us when she knew we were arriving late - after 10pm. Her kind gesture of £2 ensure that there was electricity and warm shower for us when we arrive.

Although there were 2 electric heaters, it wasn't warm enough for us. Perhaps, in summer this wouldn't be an issue. It just so happens when days are cooler and cloudy at the end of Spring, it got a little cold. But our duvet kept us warm and cosy through the night. Overall it was OK.

The property was clean on arrival and perfect for our needs. We had everything we could have needed and a lovely site to be on.

Location is fantastic with a short walk to a quiet beach. Nearby Caister has a Lidl and a Tesco too. 10-15mins drive to Great Yarmouth. Bus stop at the front of the holiday chalets. On site fish and chips shop, arcade, pool (extra charges), club and small shop. Easy to get keys from keysafe. Fantastic communication by Debbie. Had initially switched on "Hot Water" thinking that it was for shower and the electricity kept cutting out, prompting me to put in more £1. I asked her about it and she was so so nice to attend the chalet and put in £1 coins for me to compensate those i had put in which she did not need to actually. Very prompt replies and ever so helpful. The chalet itself is cosy and homely. We were out at the beaches, arcade etc the whole day and so not in the chalet most of the time!

I had given feedback to Debbie myself on minor issues and she had replied or acted upon them. That is actually the most important to me as I believe issues should be communicated to the hosts first as they might not realise!

Firstly I've got to say the communication was fantastic! We had a lovely 3 nights in a clean and well equipped chalet. We are a family of 6 with 4 children and had plenty of space. The owners had even brought down extra blankets incase it got cold at night. There were clear instructions explaining how to operate the water heater and electrics and a very well equipped kitchen for cooking for a family. The site is really nice and has a club house with a bar and restaurant which served up an amazing roast dinner on Sunday (went for the large! And it sure was!) There is a shop for essentials. There is an onsite chip shop which was lovely we got there just as they opened at 4.30pm and the food was cooked quickly and was as good as my favourite local chippy. Even did pizzas which kept my fussy daughter happy. There is an arcade with an ATM which kept us entertained for a couple of hours. There is a bus stop right outside the gate for an easy trip into great yarmouth with open top buses (kids loved it) I would highly recommend Alicia's chalets and will definitely be visiting again in the future. My deposit was refunded straight back into my bank on the day we left. Thanks again. The Howard family.

Spotlessly clean chalet. All the cookware that was needed. comfortable beds and a comfortable pul out sofa bed.

It was really cold and there were only thin duvets available. perfect for the hight of summer, but not the start of April when outside dropped below 0. Heater was very expensive to run. A few spare blankets would have really improved things.

was not aware that we needed to bring our own towels so we had to go out and buy some. There were no spare/extra blankets for the beds. The chalet was extremely cold and damp as the only heating in there was electric plug in radiators one is oil the other is electric and was not aware there was a coin meter for the electricity until the host mentioned this prior to our arrival. would have been a much more enjoyable stay if it wasnt so cold and damp, had to wear clothes to bed to keep warm and buy a hot water bottle as there were no extra blankets available to put on to any of the beds. booking.com should have all the correct information on their site i.e. bring your own towels, coin meter for electricity and have the correct photo of the chalet on their site as the picture is not the same as the chalet we stayed in as the front door is in the wrong place so we know this is not the correct picture. instructions on how to find the chalet would be good as well as it took us a while to find it.
