Kalamunda House Rusutsu

Comfortable with a good aspect

The house is incredible and everything organised for the snowy weather, which makes everything so easy. Loved the heated floor and drying room. The house is really really stunning and with so many windows for gazing at the snow covered trees. We loved every second of our stay here.

Very close to ski resort. 2 rooms with 2 beds (twin or double bed) and 1 room with 4 bunk bed. spacious lower floor for storage and dry room for skis. upper floor is spacious for kitchen and living room as well. Good for up to 8 people.

The only onsen nearby is in rusutsu hotel which would be full of people in the evening.

Kalamunda House was very modern and spotlessly clean with heated entry floor and beautifully decorated. The Kitchen was well stocked with everything would need including a pod coffee machine. The hosts picked us up from bus stop and again for the return. Any questions/problems we had were answered swiftly and we really enjoyed our stay there. The walk to ski resort wasn’t too far maybe about 10 mins and the 7 eleven and Seicomart about the same, you can buy most everything from these 2 shops including many heat and eat meals. There are few restaurants around but we stayed in every night except one as it was so comfortable and warm after a days skiing.

The beds and pillows were a little hard but that is usual in Japan.
