Modern, clean,tidy. Very helpful host.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaba Saradiel! The location was peaceful and surrounded by greenery, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The highlight of our trip was the hike up Mountain Saradiel—stunning views and a bit of history about Sri Lanka’s “Robin Hood.” We also loved visiting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage nearby. Watching the elephants bathe and roam around was unforgettable. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. This place is great if you’re into nature, history, or just need a quiet getaway. Highly recommend it!

Everything. Huge open plan flat, all in lovely wood. Modern, clean with very well equipped kitchen. Great to have a washing machine. Large and powerful shower. Varied and interesting panoramic views of the jungle and mountains including Saradiel Rock. The caretaker was super helpful. Highly recommended 👌 👍

Some traffic noise at times. Owner plans to plant more trees to mitigate this.

Probably the best place I’ve experienced in Sri Lanka . Modern and yet with a traditional feel like no other. It’s wooden structure and design was such that it was a joy to behold ,enhanced by the gracious host for which nothing was too much trouble.

That the property didn’t belong to me!!!!

Facilities were exceptional, mini kitchen, dining table and utilities available. Beds are comfortable, large space like complete apartment.

Facility & Cleaning

Parking facility is very poor.

Everything, location , amenities in the house , electrical equipments in the kitchen, upstairs bed , Air-condition , everything was there and beyond our expectations , great hosts , late check out possibilities without additional cost,

Bathroom commode needs to be more cleaned .. that was the only issue in our stay

It was a wonderful experience in this cabin. The place is fully equipped and well maintained. The host Mr Sisira is a wonderful person and helped us many ways during whole stay. Amazing location plus close to Kandy town and Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. If anyone is interested in hiking, there is a view point Saradiel Rock close by. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel free with nature. We would be very happy to come back someday!
