Fox Hill

It was a peaceful retreat in a very rustic rural setting. Very quiet and nothing much nearby. We used Grab taxis to get around but a car would be preferable if people want to explore widely. It was, however, the perfect setting for a complete retreat. Our hosts had a nice evening menu if you wanted to dine there. And a simple breakfast each morning. Our hosts were very kind and helpful.

Shower was a little weak. It would be a little remote for some people.

Place is cozy and quiet.

The area is like a little village. Several huts that are spread all over. They are arranged in a way that every single one feels like your own home. The huts themselves are very well designed and very cozy. Staying here really chills you down and helps to relax from deep inside. The staff (the place is family-run) is very friendly and helps wherever it's needed. They also serve delicious breakfast and dinner on request.

Smooth process

Well, how do i start. This as an amazing place with the best hosts you could ever wish to meet. Immaculately maintained and fantastic food. A car is a good idea as its inland, but that's what makes it so sublime. For us this was a perfect location away from the tourist beaches. Just brilliant and a lovely pool. Go, you won't regret it.

Nothing

The place was wonderful and the services were excellent. The owner had really taken the effort to analyse what guests need. For example, I wanted to hang my towel outside to dry - and there was a towel rack. I wanted to leave my dirty clothes somewhere, and there was a laundry basket. Every detail was looked at from a guest perspective. The house was fantastic. Traditional from the outside, modern from the inside. We can highly recommend this place to others.

Scenary and quietness..

Not saying didn't like.As I'm not stay at room the whole day. Perhaps owner can check TV speaker.

Our Foxhill experience was wonderful from start to finish. The glowing reviews I read on here previously were genuinely true. From the breakfast (18myr pppd) to the wonderful hosts (AB), and not forgetting the incredibly friendly cats. Whilst at foxhill we saw hornbills, frogs, geckos, and two fairly large lizards, beautiful butterflies however surprisingly no creepy crawlies (bar ants which i don't count anyway!) The location is fairly central and therefore "far" from most places. I would agree a car/scooter is a must. Grab does work, but the time saved not waiting for one is more than priceless. We hired a toyota from foxhill themselves (90myr pd). The car was immaculate (and seemingly fairly new). The roads around langkawi are really good, and I used google maps to find my way around, no issues whatsoever. Most things were about a 20-40 drive away (i guess that's the advantage of being centrally located). Langkawi is a wonderful island, and if we were to visit again, Foxhill would definitely be high up my priority list.
