It was warm.

It was overpriced, unclean, falsely advertised and an entirely unacceptable standard. It stank of tobacco, a friend is asmathic and upon visiting us had to leave due to smell of tobacco resulting in an additional expense of dinner out. Our clothes and everything smelt of tobacco by end of trip. Host advise was for US to air the place in DECEMBER!!! I wasn't expecting to have to bring the place to an acceptable standard myself. Plus opening doors and windows in December is not my idea of comfort. The couch was filthy, we avoided using it. We were not happy at all. Bikes that were advertised as part of chalet were not available. We ended up renting and paying ourselves for electric bikes. Also personal items of the host were found throughout property, making it feel more like a stay in someone's home than what we had paid for. A hotel trip would be as costly but with guaranteed standards. It has changed our opinion of using Booking.com as there really is no guarantee of what standard you will get. It seems Booking.com does not check their properties before advertising them. Coffee machine leaking, microwave/oven not working.

great location and owners are very communicative

The place was not clean and very dusty. My mum has asthma and suffered quite a bit because the windows don't have nets so you either get eaten alive by mosquitoes or you close the window. There are spiders and cobwebs in every room. There's also no oven and facilities are old.

Ideal location for our requirements. Relaxed and peaceful. Everything that’s needed for a good weekend. Nice to also have bicycles available for exploring local area. Well equipped kitchen, warm and comfortable. Stayed in March so didn’t get chance to use the outdoor patio facilities.

Little noisy on the roof when it rains!

The house is nice and comfortable, the area is beautiful and very calm. Nice forest around to walk with the dog. The host is very easy to contact and available for all questions.

Some small details could be improved in the kitchen like a filter coffee machine.
