AUTekoa lodge was a such as cozy place to stay for a couple of nights. It was a perfect place to come back to after going on hikes and had all the amenities needed to make it a relaxing stay. David, the owner, was very accomodating and incredibly helpful.
NZWe loved the layout of the place, it was very efficient for the number of travellers we had, the downstairs area fit us all comfortably and we really enjoyed the evening sun on the deck!
There's not much to not like! It was a decent drive to the Tongariro Crossing but we were still impressed with the location. We saw an out of commission spa that would have been great to have up and running for after a long day of walking.
