I have to report a very a unpleasant episode that took place while we were ( three girlfrienfs and myself) at the Pink kangaroo resort. On the last day before our departure we asked Dick, the owner, to book a Pick up for the all day since we were planning to spend some time on different beaches. We were dropped off at Ao Phrao and when we left the beach we discovered that our driver was not there anymore . He should had waited for us at each beach as we agreed. We senta message and vocal to Dick. No answer. We waited for one hour and we were obliged to call another taxi.Our plan for the day was totally spoiled. Obviously we complained with Dick,but he said we had to pay him anyway, otherwise he would not let us leave the following morning, defending the driver instead his guests. Pure blackmail absolutely outrageous.

It‘s a beautiful place, beautiful location, quiet, very peaceful and run very professionally and friendly likewise.

Quiet and clean. There are friendly staffs ready to support you with necessary things for your advanture. Truely hidden gem.

Wifi was unstable. Recomment to buy a personal sim card for better internet.

The owners were nice people.

The room smelled strongly of mould, the bedding smelled of very strong detergent and the property was not as close to the beach as we thought. If you ride motor bikes it’s ok.

Super friendly owners who go an extra mile for you, clean and well maintained bungalows, very nice breakfasts, delicious coffee!

By far our best stay in the whole of Thailand! Dick and Wan went out of their to ensure we had the best stay ever. Their hospitality was unmatched. From arriving and being treated to passionfruit mock-tail from Wan, to their help booking ferries, hiring a bike not to mention how friendly they both are, it really did feel like a piece of home away from home. Tucked away from the hectic resorts of main strip Koh Kood, immersed in what felt like a slice of our own personal jungle, yet so close to great spots to eat, waterfalls and best of all, jaw-dropping beaches. The rooms/bungalows were spacious (with a kitchen), spotlessly clean, and very homely. I cannot stress enough, if you plan on visiting Koh Kood you have to stay at Dick and Wan’s Pink Kangaroo, it was nothing short of perfect!
