Smoky Mountain Chalet

The house is beautiful and quiet. Having no in person check-in, but getting a door code was amazing. The property was very clean.

We have no complaints! The host made it obvious they were a phone call or message away if we needed anything but we did not need a thing, they thought of it all!

The house was way bigger than it looks on the outside, it was in a quiet area separated from the city but it was still only a few minutes away from anything you would want to do/see/eat. A bonus for me was getting to see some cute cows while in the hot tub too!

very clean. great location. great neighborhood (except the first night that the next door was having a loud party at 2am in the morning; after that group left we had three very quiet nights; people in the community are very nice.)

Cleaning crew needs to give attention to detail. Blinds dirty, upstairs bath was not clean, had hairs still in it from prior visitors. Bathroom upstairs had no soap at all. There were splatters of something on downstairs bathroom door. I’m not sure you’re getting your moneys worth on your cleaning. A bit confusing on how to get cleaning deposit back. Some info on website not exactly right.

Paid a deposit and have yet to have it returned.

We liked the amount of space and location, how close it was to everything. Loved the fireplace, especially with the cool days and evenings we had. The kids loved the pool table and game machines and also loved the hot tub. We liked the quiet neighborhood. Like the fact that there were 3 bathrooms, which was a big plus when there were as many as there were in our family.

It's not well stocked for the money I paid. We were a family of 8. I had to go buy paper products and aluminum foil. There were not enough hand towels. There was only 1 per bathroom. There should be at least 2 or 3 per bathroom. Don't like using the same hand towel all week, and with this being my vacation, I don't want to spend my time washing. There was only 1 large plastic bowl in the kitchen but no lid. Had to buy plastic wrap to cover salad. It would be nice to have a few medium-sized size plastic bowls with lids to be able to store leftovers in the fridge. The kitchen could also use a glass bowl with lid for microwave use. I tried using the outdoor grill, and it caught fire because of so much grease in it. I did try to use the oven in the kitchen, and it set the off smoke alarm because of so much grease covering inside. But, other than that, we had a great stay.
