Adele, provided an excellent basket of various snacks and cereals, including milk that was used for breakfast on our first morning in the Chalet. The chalet was of a very high quality finish and included all appliances required for a short stay.

Great location for exploring the island and excellent if you need to catch the very early ferry. The welcome basket was very generous and we enjoyed many of the goodies it contained. Thanks.

The stools at the kitchen island don’t work well for older people.

Great location in the Isle of Skye lovely views out the large bay window. There is only a small grocery store in the town, but the host graciously supplied butter, eggs and a welcome basket. The chalet is beautifully decorated with canvas prints from the local area. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, pans, toaster, oven, and stove. The bedrooms have a nice comfortable bed with fans in each room. There is a small electric fireplace in the lounge area, with a small couch. The host lives on the same property as the chalet, with another small property attached to the chalet. Easy parking is included in the stay.

Host asked for suggestions and my only suggestions would be that a luggage rack would be helpful and maybe to include some basic spices besides salt and pepper. I personally like self catering so I can cook dinner there, but it is difficult when you have to buy spices. The other thing that we did not love was the welcome email stated that we can extend check out for 5 pounds for every 15 minutes. I understand the host needs people to check out on time and cannot have them delaying the cleaning if they have someone else coming in. It made it very stressful when we were leaving trying to make sure we had all our stuff, cleaning up after breakfast, wondering if the host was watching from her house to ensure we left exactly at 10 am. The message seemed overall unwelcoming, but was completely at odds with the lovely note and welcome basket of lots of goodies we received when we arrived. It was still a wonderful spot with everything inside perfect.

This little gem was a wonderful place to stay on Skye. Adele and her family welcomed us with an amazing gift hamper full of essentials and a few red extra treats. The view over the water was beautiful. The chalet itself was spotlessly clean, the beds super comfortable and had everything we needed for our three day stay. We would have stayed longer if we could. It’s the perfect little home away from home.

Eine Garderobe bzw. ein Schrank zum Aufhängen der Jacken wäre schön
