"Great place for large groups & families visiting Monteverde"

The view is terrific. This is a great place for families. We were a party of 8 people, and there is a very large great room where the entiire family can hang out in. Coffee maker, coffee, refrigerator, plates, mugs, and silverware were provided. Hostess is great. Limited English, but a very nice person and we definitely didn't have a problem communicating.

It's about a 10 min drive from downtown Monteverde, so anytime you need to eat or shop, prepare for a drive. But if you want something more remote, this is the place. Walls are a little thin. Also, the showers are a little bit fickle. There are very small instant hot water heaters in the shower heads, and at low water volume, the water is hot, but at higher volumes, water gets lukewarm to cold.

Nos cambiaron sin costo a una casa más grande y eso fue genial ya que era de dos pisos y había más espacio para los 4. Tiene cocina bien equipada y estaba todo muy limpio. Las vistas son espectaculares. Es necesario coche para llegar.

La escalera para subir a la planta de arriba es algo peligrosa y la casa en general necesitaría una reforma.

Hébergement très adapté a une famille de 5 personnes. Le logement est très fonctionnel et très bien situé au milieu de la nature et en proximité des parcs de Santa Elena et Monteverde

"Prachtige locatie"

Prachtige locatie en omgeving. Heerlijk verbleven toen we monte verde hebben verkend. Ruime locatie. Prima bedden.

De douche is even oefenen, maar geeft goed warm water. Je hoort de weg aan de andere kant wel, maar niet storend.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans un cadre paisible en pleine nature. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux. La literie est très confortable. Le chemin est bien indiqué avec les flèches jaunes. Nous avons aimé l’emplacement au calme du centre ville.

"Perfect for groups, great views"

Beautiful views from the property and fully equipped kitchen to cook. We were 5 people staying very comfortably. The host was very helpful and lovely to chat to. She even brought us extra firewood one night. Highly recommend

Just to be aware the road out of town is about 10/15 mins of windy not so great roads. No problem with a 4x4, just take it easy
