Lovely quiet setting just off the highway not far from Windmills and Nottingham Road. Short drive to shops and variety of restaurants. Very friendly and efficient hosts. Enjoyed a hearty breakfast in the beautiful manor house. Cottage was very private, lovely countryside view, well maintained with all necessary amenities.

Dam is a little weeded up, low in water and bridge needs some TLC.

We were able to check-in early. The cottage was clean and spacious. Loved the wood fire and all the extra logs that were available.

Grass was a bit long and wet to get to the dam, perhaps create little trails around the dam to the jetty

Country side authenticity, wonderful experience of a country home and scenery, loved the fireplace and walk with the cattle in the morning.
