"Camp Acacia is Dreamy!"

8.0

Edwin was very friendly and accommodating. He lifted us to and from our car 4 times and made a fun game drive out of it. We loved that we had the camp all to ourselves and the braai area is amazing.Nibbles the resident nyala came to visit us and we fed her carrots. The kitchen is well equipped. We went for a walk and spotted giraffe and buck. The pool area is lovely for afternoon reading in the sun. It's only an hour from Addo and far superior experience to staying in the town of Addo.

The beds were incredibly hard...like sleeping on a rock. I can't imagine anyone finding them comfortable. The listing should be clearer in terms of directions to get there and that you drop your car off and get a game drive up to the accommodation. While we really didn't mind this, I think it may not appeal to everyone

"Surely one of the highlight of our two weeks trip!"

The location is absolutely stunning. It felt like paradise. Beautifully furnished, too. Edwin gave us such a warm welcome and already on the drive to the camp we passed Rhinos, Zebras, Girafs and other animals.

The camp manager Edwin was super friendly and helpful. The location of the camp was awesome. You are surrounded by nature and animals and have a fantastic view. There are various houses and every single one of them is so comfortable and you can relax perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped and the pool has the perfect location.

The location of the camp was wrong in booking. We needed to do several calls in order to get the information of the right gate. So the arrival was complicated. Please note that you can't drive to the camp by yourself, you need to be shuttled in and out through the Amakhala Game Reserve. If you want to do any trips on your own (e.g. Addo NP) you need to be shuttled to your car as well and you will be charged for that in the end, which we didn't know.

The place is exceptional: several small houses as rooms, kitchen and so on, on a hill top with a great view on the reserve. Take your binoculars to observe wildlife in the morning.

"Our top stay on our South African roadtrip. Wilderness and serenity in your very own camps!"

10.0

An incredible oasis for ourselves! We enjoyed every second of our serene stay in the beautiful South African wilderness. Caretaker Edvin and his lovely family were so accomodating and friendly. Imagine having giraffes and zebras outside your doorstep, and being able to hike to them. The ammenities were great and everything we needed was there. Such great value for money, we are truly content and would love to return!

Nothing really. We had to bring our own baby cot but that was fine.

"A great gem for Families small groups(of friends), sleeps upto 8 people"

10.0

A magical place on a hill overlooking the wide enclosed valley, with 3 giraffes, various antelopes and rhinos walking around in the park. Edwin and Renzo are very welcoming and carrying. There are three cottages, a pool area, a kitchen - cottage, 3 braais and a lounge cottage with a terrace as well several places with tables to choose to dine. Ideal for families or groups upto 8 pax. Please note that since you will e staying with wild life you need to park your car at the Woodbury Tented camp and you will be brought to the accommodation via shuttle( best to check in all together at once if you come as a group. Kitchen is perfectly equipped with all amenities even plenty of fire wood and braai utensils.

Everything was wonderful, but especially Edwin, our driver and caretaker. Edwin was patient, polite and helpful in every way. Tobadd to everything, there was Nibbles , the house friend buck , who gave us midnight visits and enjoyed our company , especially when she thought there might be a snack at hand. It was very sad to have to leave

There was absolutely nothing to complain about

"Incredible!"

10.0

This place exceeded our expectations. You have the whole camp to yourself in the middle of safari. Edwin was excellent and on the ride to and from the car park treated us to a mini safari. The place was well equipped and being able to walk around with giraffes was incredible. The WiFi worked in the lounge area.

The kitchen was missing chopping boards. The beds were very comfortable but were small doubles.
