Croft 7 Geary Self Catering Studio

Beautiful location, fabulous facilities in the studio and extremely helpful hosts. Loved nearby Stein- where you can go out on a boat and enjoy a drink and or a meal at the Stein Inn watching the sunset. Skye is such a beautiful place to visit and this studio is the perfect place to stay.

Nothing- the studio was great. It is important to note the location is quite remote - although we loved it and enjoyed walking and visiting in the North of the Island- it is a distance (over an hours drive) to the Red Cuillins and longer further south of the Island.

Beautiful place, lovely hosts

The location was absolutely spectacular. The window view was spectacular. I have never been in Skye but I will definitely be back. If I could get the same place I will too. Hosts were super super friendly.

I love love loved everything. Every thing!

Lovely place to stay, great views, in a quiet village. Catherine and Jeff were around to make our stay perfect but did not intrude on our privacy. They also had detailed instructions for everything so we didn't have to bother them. We made full use of the self-catering facilities, outside seating, and even managed to catch the meteor shower due to the completely dark sky in the village. Their collection of tourist guides and brochures was very helpful, as were the instructions sent before our stay, as things like groceries, fuel etc are quite far from Geary.

Can't really think of anything!

Fantastic views from that great big window.hosts were great, very friendly and helpful. We used as a base to visit St Kilda, plus North Uist and a wee trip out to Rona from Stornoway. The studio was a real retreat from the tourist hoards.

The roads on Skye are horrendous.

This studio is comfortable, exceptionally clean and has everything we need. Hosts Jeff and Catherine are welcoming and gave us an introduction to the surrounding sites to visit which is very helpful. We enjoyed watching the view across the loch changes with the weather. Everything is perfect.

Location remote with stunning views

Catherine and Jeff were fantastic hosts, extremely helpful when we needed help otherwise we were left to our own devices which is what we like. The studio was immaculately clean and comfortable and stocked with all the little things you could need. It made a great base for us to explore the northern areas of Skye. The view really is stunning and we would love to stay again some time.
