A great break from the city. The area of Dwarskersbos in general can become quite cold, but the owner told us that there was AC as well as fully charged lanterns and an inverter for loadshedding which was thoughtful. Place was super clean, the owner was friendly and helpful. The Slakkepas 52 is right at the back in a complex, everyone was quite welcoming. Upstairs loft bedroom has a great view of the bushveld to enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony.

The place was amazing, would definitely go again it was more then what we expected, there was everything what we needed, for the weekend to stay, feeling like it was our own home...

What I didn't like was why they ask us where we work, and then we didn't feel welcome anymore, cause that's nothing to do with staying there, cause we paid for it so what's the problem.. And we was asking questions but op whatsapp but was answering like we was n problem, and when we leave we ask where we can bring the key, we was expecting them to come if everything is as w found it.. And maybe asking us if there was any problems or ask how the weekend was, but nothing, we feel like maybe we was treated so cause we are kallits..and dont have great jobs.. So they tel us to leave the place open then we can go.. I was very disappointed..

The host Sandra was very special and generous in the sense that she phoned to offer advice on how to stay warm and what facilities were available during loadshedding.
