Kleine Vrede Farm Cottage

Beautiful surroundings. Yard was exceptionally clean.

No real complaints just suggestions for more comfortable stays. The dripping basin tap in bathroom needs new washer. The tap in kitchen is mounted to high, water spatter and wets clothing, suggest a downpipe/tubing that will lower the outlet.

Loved the hot tub, clean linen, chocolates on pillows. The grass was mowed and was lovely to lie on to read books in sun. The view down to the field when the cows come is stunning. The instructions received by the host via Whatsapp were very comprehensive and we ended up doing a lot of the recommended activities which was a lovely extra.

The cottage was a lot closer to the main road that depicted. This would not have been an issue if they were not doing major work on the road and all we could hear was the trucks & it was hard to access the property

Lovely little rustic cottage, with everything you needed. The host was very quick to reply and gave clear instructions on the hot tub and other facilities. Everything was clean and tidy and being right next door to the "ouplaas" restaurant and shop was really handy but completely private. Being only about 5kms outside Hermanus it's very easy to get to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. If you want some quiet time, in a little "farm workers" cottage I would definitely recommend.
