Aroma De La Mer

The view is amazing. From our cottage, we could see the sea, and from the common eating room, you had an amazing view of the sunset. The food was nice and the staff were great. The bed was comfortable. The staff is very helpful (they drove us to a nearby ATM on the first day at no extra costs) and respectful. The outdoor shower is very nice to have.

The room definitely could have been cleaner, and the home looked like its best years are behind it. The towels had (old) stains, the mosquito net had holes, the bedsheets had holes and some stains, the lock to the bathroom works poorly (you have to try and lock it 5 to 10 times before it works). The hostel next door plays music quite loud from 9am to 10pm, which is not ideal. Combine that with the kinda busy road you are next to, roosters and cats, these were not the quietest nights we've had on Bali.

This place has one of the best views of Amed. It has it's own restaurant with very good food and also a dive center downstairs. Each room is one separate wooden cabin with en suite bathroom. The cabin comes with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom is partially without roof, so you can shower under the stars. Breakfast is outstanding, wide variety of food and drinks, good portions. The staff provided us free of charge transportation in the city and to the beach.

I have never experienced hospitality like this, I am very very grateful to have experienced this. Everyone who comes to Amed stop by this place, there is a fantastic view, and the hosts have the warmest hearts I have experienced. I am very grateful thank you all

Everything.. cottage needs renovation..all trashy .. bad smell ... water stop in the middle of my shower.. was cold.. they fixed it, and after 5 min, it's stopped again.. food was OKAY.. even I expected more than 3 peace sizes of my little finger grill shrimps.. breakfast was awful.. but included ... uncooked green banana pancake... On check out when i checked the bill... Receptionist, aka chief aka Everything.. wanted to charge for room 450 instead 405 and pay 25 for uncooked pancakes and 15 for tea... which was included in price.. and she tried to tell me maybe I had it twice.. no mam... I didn't had it even once .. the way to bungalow full of flowers and trees it's nice, but walking through this jungle when it's been rain and get wet ..not the best thing .. honestly. I don't recommend...

Good area of Amed with amazing view from the restaurant area. Cute own bungalow with outside shower which was great.

The location, the staff, the decoration. The view is okay.

The noise from nearby restaurant. I think the resort nearby also have pigs as there were pig sounds and smells a bit. We visited on December and it was really hot. The sun just bake the room like if you park your car under the sun for too long. The aircon work but doesn't make any change to the heat of the room cos it just too hot. We couldn't stay in the room during the day. The furniture and surrounding area of the room that we stayed (room 3) are neglected. The door curtains are ripped apart, make it complicated to shut it entirely. The shower randomly stopped for a minute or two :(

Everything was perfect, very welcoming on arrival and the cottage is very cozy. Putu is amazing and very helpful.
