Escape Pod in Devon, 5 mins from beach + parking

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und hervorragend gelegen. Trotz kleinem Raum hat es alles geboten, was man brauchte. Sogar einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Sehr freundliche und proaktive Gastgeberin.

The Escape Pod is gorgeous and highly recommended! It is perfectly located for walking easily into beer, I thought it was more remote than it was which was great as we could pop in and out as we wanted (just be ready for a little hill on the way back up). The pod is well equipped and has lots of lovely light and we spent time when we were sitting on the bed looking at deer and cows in the nearby field which was gorgeous. Our gorgeous host Louise let us know that the Pod was ready early so we checked in hours before our expected available time which was a really lovely extra touch and the place did not disappoint, it really was an escape for us. Beer is a gorgeous place with cute beach cafes and places to eat. We are vegan and still found lots we could tuck in to. You can also walk easily along into Seaton and into Brandscome (check out the Mason Arms there if you go) and the Beer Quarry Caves is a must! Fascinating tour and good information on the local history.

Faultless. Loved everything about our stay and about the Escape Pod. I wish we had better weather so we could have sat outside as the view is gorgeous but we still had a great stay despite the rain :)

Outdoor space was average, dog needed to be on lead as space always not secure.

Location was great for restaurants in Beer for eating out and the secure area around The Pod was ideal for dogs.

The dining table & stools, were⁰ a "little compact".

Escape Pod is perfect for couples (and we had our dog) for a get away in the beautiful village of Beer. Surrounding area is simply lovely.

This is not a criticism! My wife has a disability that affects her walking. The accommodation is very close to Beer centre but, it is very hilly across the whole area. We decided to drive into the centre as I felt it would be too difficult for my wife. I am perfectly fit and walked it easily. Just making the comment to help other visitors.

Quiet and easy to follow instructions for finding and entering the pod.

Maybe a pint of milk in the fridge would have been good.
