I had the best lil stay with my shih Tzu here. The shower was like a cool futuristic spaceship and speakers so you can listen to music! I enjoyed using the wood burner to stay cosy + watched DVDs on the DVD player that I took along with me. There's also a stereo for CDs if you take your own. So many cute spots in the main living area to enjoy a tea + a book. Fully fenced was great for my little dog. The bed was firm/supportive, comfy and nice bedding. The place was super fresh and clean - a bit cold on arrival but soon warmed up with the heat pump. Very close to everything, my pup + I enjoyed sitting on the top deck at the Powderkeg Chateau with a mulled wine + the Mangowhero river walk. Thanx to the lovely hosts providing everything needed for a relaxing stay.

Well set-up with everything we needed. Accommodating helpful owners with a quick response time. Beautiful decor and well presented rooms. Large main living space with a nice log fire. Easy access off a quieter street.

Right near the volunteer fire brigade horn, which went off in the middle of the night, both nights of our stay, but not for long.

Lovely house, very well set up with everything needed, including outdoor table and seating, laundry, bbq etc. Good instructions and communication with the owners.

Great 3 bedroom house for a family or friends group but for only a couple a little on the expensive side. Having said that very well set up, with everything needed.

Comfy, very warm and homely. Has everything you need and close to cafes and restaurants. Owners very helpful and responsive.

WiFi and TV issues but owner sorted quickly so no problems! Some board games could be lovely.
