The small cottage is in a small vineyard. Prettier than the pictures. We loved to sit in the patio to enjoy the wine with the nice view. The owners were really kind and helpful. We didnt do the tasting but their red wine was excellent. It is a bit tricky to drive up the narrow path but it is so worth it. The only regret is we didn't stay longer!

A lovely place to wake up among the vineyards at a local winemaker's. Peacefully located, with the village center easily accessible by car. Fully private apartment and swimming pool.

The barbecue was in need of a thorough cleaning.

We had difficulty locating the property & eventually called the proprietor. She had a good idea where we were, she said to stay put & was there to meet us in a few min. I don’t think our gps would have found this location, got us close but that’s all. Stairs to climb to the chalet so suggesting you travel light. Learned the closest restaurant is a 20 min drive & since it was already getting dark we were concerned to find the place in the darkness & also do the winding narrow roads we stayed put. Suggest you have something you can prepare but again if you do want to go out, plan for this restaurant cause it is an excellent suggestion as we learned the following am. . This place is called Sao Leonardo, Following AM we drove there hoping to find breakfast but no they have a later opening. BUT….again kindness & the owner put together a delicious sandwich & we sat out on the patio taking in the gorgeous view. Further up the road is the best lookout & you can drive to it (also suggested by women where we stayed.) Miradouro de Sao Leonardo in Galafura, I’m certain this view is what appears in tour guide books, so beautiful, Other suggestions made but we felt we’d seen the best & did not want to do any Port cellar tours.

Really nothing we didn’t like. Small but very warm & comfortable. Place to prepare a meal, outdoor grill. It located in a beautiful region. Warm & gracious host.

Fantastic location if you want to stay in a wood cabin on a small vineyard in the Douro area. Host has lots of suggestions on things to see and do in the area. Cosy, quiet place.

Note there are some steps to go up from parking space and a walking path up the vineyard, so you need to be able to do so physically.

The house is nestled in a vineyard with gorgeous views of the Duoro Valley. Cecilia is an excellent host who gave us loads of suggestions on what to do and we really enjoyed the wine tour at Casa Poco. The place itself was clean and comfortable. I'd absolutely stay here again and recommend it to friends.
