First of all, you arrive and see the place, you can only say wow!! A cabin in the woods, just like that!! The owner was constantly available on WhatsApp, and I thank him for that.

There are a few problems, it's probably a matter of choice, first, the remoteness of the place, difficult access to the village center. I expected more of a sense of solitude in the forest, but in the end there was no real privacy, we could hear the neighbors in the neighboring cabins, especially when they were making a fire, or were outside. The noise didn't bother me "as noise," but more because I expected to feel "alone in the forest." As for the price, I think it's really high relative to what we got. There was also a problem that the hot water ran out quickly and it was a shame to bathe in lukewarm water, because San Jose del Pacifico is a very cold place. The owner was constantly available on WhatsApp, and I thank him for that.

"Super cute cabin with all the basics."

It was a cozy cabin far out of town which was so beautiful and the views were amazing. The shower was great and the small fire place was perfect for our stay.

It was a lovely stay, the road to the cabin could be a challenge for a very small car. Also during our stay construction was happening so the noise level unfortunately did not make for lazy afternoons just reading. Once all the construction is complete it will be super peaceful.

"Beautiful place but not for everyone"

El señor q nos atendio

No electricity at night which May be a problem if you have a medical device like a CPAP machine or oxygen machine or need to charge devices. Road is impassable without a 4x4 during the rainy season Very expensive but if you’re looking for near total isolation than perhaps worth the price

Magnificent quiet location with nice view. Nice big camp fire. Good communication with the host. Contrary to the information on internet a shower is available.

Battery-based light gives quite low lighting conditions.
