There were lots of flies and mozzies. But the did have insect spray etc.

Do not book this cottage on booking.com as after I made and paid my booking on Dec 31 2023 for 3 nights on the booking.com site, and I received all the confirmation details through booking.com, I contacted the operator to inform her of our arrival time. She said her contract with booking.com had ended. She no longer worked through them and that I had to take it up with booking.com in order to get my money back. I would have to book through her and pay her directly. The result was, I had to pay her another amount which was higher for the 3 days in addition to the money I had already paid to booking.com using my bank card. Since that time, I have been trying to get my money back from booking.com and I have not yet received it. I have been calling them since 31 Dec 2023 to lodge a request for a refund. I have uploaded all the documents they asked for. For several days now, when I call, i speak to a different consultant every time. They tell me a different story each time. I must wait for a certain date, and each time that date passes, then it is another date. The dates keep moving. Booking.com, please can you refund my money. Update: After this review was written, Booking.com reached out to me and refunded my money on the 24th of January 2024. Thank you. It will be great to remove accommodation that are no longer with booking.com to avoid the inconvenience.

Nougat, tea bags and rusks tasted like paraffin. Kids mattresses were too soft on bunk beds. Otherwise lovely stay.m
