"It was a romantic retreat"

We can say that this is our favourite place in Hanmer and we have already recommended it to friend of us...the location is perfect, the pine trees around the deck are stunning, the home is cozy and like home away from home...we loved every moment and definitely will be back...

This is one of the few properties where the rooms exactly looked like the pictures. The retreat is true to its name. All facilities provided and the Hot tub is a treat.

Stunning view from the deck over the below forest and the mountains above. Excellent presentation, standard of cleanliness, and level of comfort. Tucked away up the hill where you can enjoy the scenic wilderness, with the benefit of being close to the Main Street. The bathtub on the deck was unreal, very enjoyable to soak and take in the view while having a drink! The wood fire heater was a nice accompaniment while watching a movie on the lounge. Would 100% stay again!
