Marahau Retreat

Location was superb. Views over Abel Tasman. Worth getting up early to watch the sunrise. The retreat had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Anna the owner was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Prachtig huis en tuin. Geweldig uitzicht op zee en vergen. Met smaak ingericht en compleet. Wasmachine en -droger is ook een pluspunt.

Loved the peace and quiet right on the doorstep to the Abel Tasman NP. Old time cottage with wonderful scenery where country meets the coast.

Amazing location with views across the peninsula and surrounding hills. Lovely gardens around it with tui and weka frequent visitors

Nothing - everything was as expected

Peaceful little bach in the bush that we loved. Very private. Many native birds, close to Abel Tasman national park for nice walks, lovely comfy bed. Kitchen well resourced with everything we needed to cook meals. Friendly owners who made sure we had everything we needed. Can't fault it at all.

The house was self-contained, toaster, oven, cook-top, electric jug, lots of bench space and washing area,so we did our own breakfast daily & any other meals. There were many choices of tea bags, coffee, sugar. Good size fridge. Lots of amenities & tools for cooking ! Flowers on table!! The lounge was comfortable and relaxing, no TV but it is a retreat! large windows & beautiful covered verandah with amazing views, sunny, light! Bedroom lovely, comfortable, all linen! good size, windows and views! Lots of storage.Bathroom, clean, well lit, towel warmer, hot water, shampoos etc! Washing machine and drier and outdoor area to do this. Beautiful gardens all around with a small retreat hidden next to house for healing & meditation. Plenty of car space and a windy, short drive up the hill to the house! The stay was peaceful, quiet, private & totally worth the stay! There was a storm one night and wild winds and lashing rain!!! Added to the stay!

Nothing it was all really perfect!

We fell in love with this place! Great location with a very nice view. It has all the facilities that you need. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. Anna is a great host. She even went through the trouble to send a package our way after we had left something at the retreat.
