Very comfortable for watching the Northern Lights. It’s perfect for enjoying the frozen lake and especially great for watching the Northern Lights at night. We traveled with our own car, which made it very easy to reach Kiruna as well as attractions like the Ice Hotel and Nutta Sami Siida. We stayed in both Cabin 1 and Cabin 2. Cabin 2 was more comfortable than Cabin 1, thanks to its kitchen area, more spacious layout, and additional hooks on the walls. However, in both cabins, the tops of the air conditioners and the storage areas under the beds were a bit dusty.

The toilet and bathroom are located in a separate building at the back of the cabin. On the first day, we had a bit of trouble finding them, so a sign indicating their location would be helpful. Also, the trash in the toilet was overflowing on our first day. During our stay, the soap dispenser in the toilet remained empty. Overall, it’s a pleasant accommodation, but it could use a bit more attention to detail. Additionally, after using the bathroom, the room gets very steamy, making it a bit tricky to dry off and get dressed; a separate dressing area would have been useful.

From our cabin, we had a perfect vision, on the frozen lake and the aurora! Very big an comfortable bed :)

Thecabin is beautifully designed and perfectly positioned for aurora viewing. It’s very cozy and warm, making the stay comfortable. The owners are extremely helpful and always willing to resolve any issue quickly. Even though the cabin is in the forest, you don’t feel unsafe since there are other cabins nearby and lights around the area.

On the negative side, it wasn’t very clear during the booking process that the toilet is not inside the cabin but in a separate building behind it, shared with another cabin. This is common for cabins in the area, but it would be better if it were clearer before booking. Also, while everything was generally clean, it would be helpful to have basic cleaning products in the toilet so guests can clean it before use, since it’s shared. We had to buy some ourselves, as only toilet paper and hand soap were provided.

La ubicación es espectacular, alucinante poder cruzar un lago a pie porque está completamente congelado. Es una maravilla, pero hay que ir preparado para el frio. Justo en la otra orilla está el Icehotel, que hay que visitar sí o sí.

Lo de tener que salir de la cabina para ir al baño es un engorro, mas que nada por las botas, pero aún así vale la pena.

This cabin completely exceeded our expectations. It looked beautiful in photos, but somehow it was even better in person. It felt so quaint, cozy, and honestly a little magical. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The adjustable head and foot feature made it feel luxurious, and with how high it sits to bring you closer to the skylight, it almost feels like you are sleeping right under the sky. We genuinely could have spent an entire day there just reading and resting. After long days of exploring, it was perfect. The cabin had everything we needed for our short stay, and we loved how remote and peaceful it felt. One of our favorite moments was looking out the window and seeing wild reindeer wandering nearby. It truly felt like we were tucked away in our own little world. A few small things to note. The bathroom is not inside the cabin but in a separate building shared with another cabin. It gives the stay a slightly camping-like feel, which we did not mind at all, but it may not be immediately obvious from the original listing. It was clearly communicated in the messages before arrival though. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. It felt peaceful, unique, and special, and we would gladly return.

We would have loved a mirror inside the cabin itself. Getting ready in the shared bathroom felt a little awkward when another guest was waiting. We also were not sure whether we had booked Cabin 1 or Cabin 2, and could not find that information anywhere in our booking details, so we were a little confused when we arrived. Additionally, because the bed sits quite high off the ground, a sturdy step stool would be a great addition. We used a folding chair to step up and down, which worked for us, but it felt a little wobbly and might be harder for older guests.
