Gwithian, Sea Dream Beach Chalet

Lovely chalet. Very clean.

Great property. Clean, had all the facilities we needed, owners have really thought out the space. Easy walk to the beach!

The location of the chalet was exceptional! So close to the beach, perfection! The walks from the chalet were amazing.

Personally, the cleanliness of the chalet wasn’t what I expected and didn’t match the pictures. Specifically the bathroom, which doesn’t have an opening window, so mould is building up. I think it could do with a deep clean. I was also asked to pay a deposit for my dogs, which of course I was happy to pay and diligently stuck to the rules about dogs in the chalet (even covering the sofas every night with all our bags so they had no way of getting up). However, I was disappointed to note that the carpet upstairs in the main bedroom (which I was told not to let my dogs on and duly kept them off entirely) was covered in dog hair (I spilt a bit of my tea and quickly cleaned it up, and SO MUCH dog hair came up on the sponge). For the money we paid, it just didn’t feel as clean as it could have.

We loved the location and the amenities in the property were perfect for a quiet little family getaway which is still very close to St Ives and Hayles main towns. It was brilliant. Ana and Ian the managers were brilliant in their information provided and the help they gave us and ideas for the trip they are almost the perfect hosts (no one is perfect but they were as close as you can find to it - just lovely helpful people).

Nothing really I mean the car park for the cabin was about 25m from the villa which was the only negative I could find but it’s not a negative as it was explained before we arrived but that just illustrates the great value for money and experience we received in our stay and we would go back anytime.

Really quirky but offers everything you need.

Nothing really parking maybe an issue for some but not for us.

Great accomodation, very close to the beach. The owner was also very responsive with queries.
