The Chalet @ Giltar Grove Country House

A lovely little chalet with total privacy. Well appointed inside with a small bed upstairs in a loft that kids would love. Plenty of parking with a farm shop and cafe next door. Easy access across the field opposite to the Wales coastal path and therefore lovely views over Lydstep beach.

Chalet was very clean,setting was secluded, and very quiet. Staff were very friendly. Tenby was lovely and pretty, beach was fantastic. But not a lot to do really,especially with our 3 day stay that rained all the time.

2 seater sofa was unfortunately worn out with no support. Double bed was too soft,and we both rolled into the middle of it. Every time you repositioned yourself,the bed frame really creaked. So I slept upstairs on the make up bed,that was just as uncomfortable. Those things were only minor,they didn't spoil our stay. But the points I raised do need addressing for the future stays

This is a truly magical place no matter what time of year you come. It was my second stay and this time 'out of season' during Autumn (and without the kids). Perfect location for exploring Tenby and the neighbouring towns and villages of Pembrokeshire. Very friendly and helpful hosts make the stay even more pleasant. Heartily recommend.
