We had the most wonderful stay at Chalets on Frenchman. From the very beginning, the hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring — you can truly feel that this is a family-run business with heart. The chalet itself was spotless, cosy, and beautifully maintained with everything we could possibly need. It felt like a home away from home — peaceful, private, and perfectly located to enjoy Albany. The attention to detail was outstanding, and it was clear how much pride they take in providing exceptional accommodation. If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and genuinely welcoming place to stay in Albany, this is it. We will absolutely be back and will be recommending the Chalets to everyone we know!

Location is perfect for peace and quiet getaway. Very clean and tidy.

Nothing I didn’t like, but can be nice if they add a few more things in the kitchen ie place mats, kitchen paper towels/ extra tea towels. For bathroom, adding face washer/ flannels will be nice.

Das Haus war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allen Extras ausgestattet, die Reisende sich wünschen können (Waschmaschine, Trockner). Die Strasse führte direkt zum nächsten NP. Hinterm Haus gab es einen Wanderweg, gut für unseren Morgenspaziergang.

Einziges Manko: Man hört evtl. die Nachbarn durch die Wand, war aber nicht wirklich störend.

Location was superb, close to nature. Quiet location, awesome spa bath.

We weren’t aware to bring our own movies to watch on dvd. Only tv was available. And the ice trays were empty, but these are minor things. We still enjoyed our stay and would return.

It was just everything you can wish for in short stay accomodation. Location was great and easy to find, actual siting of the chalets was perfect. Bed was very comfortable, chalet was exceptionally clean, having the washer/dryer in the unit was a blessing after a week on the road. Overall we loved it, pity we could only stay one night.

There was nothing that we really could find fault with.
