Antler Lodge Traditional Log Cabin

We had a fantastic 4 night stay at the lodge! An ideal location for peace and quiet, while also being close to the fantastic towns and villages nearby. There are so many beautiful walks and stunning locations to explore; being next to Pucks Glen is another great bonus, a must see! Thank you so much for such a wonderful week in a stunning area, the lodge was the perfect base whilst we explored the landscape and as many of the walking trails as possible. The facilities at the lodge were brilliant, and the kitchen is the best equipped we have ever experienced for self catering! Such great attention to detail throughout, so clean and welcoming from the moment we arrived.

water pressure went low when you flushed the toilet and took a while then to get water if u wanted to wash dishes

The price for the location was absolutely amazing. The cabin was lovely and comfortable. There were even quiz games to play which we appreciated. The kitchen had plenty pots and bits we needed to cook for ourselves. We would definitely come back.

We read in the book that we had to sweep the floors and remove pet hair from the rug in the lounge. There was no dustpan for the sweeping brush and it was just luck we had a lint brush but even then we could only do our best. We couldn't find a tea towel to dry pots. Although we didn't need it a washing machine would be useful for hikers as there was a sign to say no wet or dirty clothes to be taken in the property.

Loved the location. Lodge was spotless. Our girls especially loved that you had Netflix!

The hot water tap in the kitchen never got above 28c in temp. A larger kitchen table would’ve been ideal but wasn’t a major problem.

we just love being in that part of the country. this cabin meant we only had to use the car to get provisions. plenty of beautiful walks to be had right out of the door.

Thank we had a lovely winter break in Dunoon. Fulfilled our expectations: lovely location, very comfortable cabin, clean, warm, good modern equipment for the stay throuthout the house, including details like TV, Wifi, maps, games. The owners sent us the message well before the time of our arrival. Thank you. We would love to return in the future.

Everything about the cottage was amazing dee and David let us check in early as we arrived before our slotted time we can honestly say it was the best holiday we have ever had as a family location was amazing and the lodge exceeded our expectations
