Een prachtige plek, maar het voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen

Het was een lang weekendtripje op mijn verjaardag. Het huis moest een open haard hebben - dit was de prioriteit bij de keuze. Ik kreeg een sms van de eigenaar dat als ik de open haard wilde gebruiken, ik hout moest kopen in de supermarkt. Dat deed ik. Je kunt je onze verbazing voorstellen toen we erachter kwamen dat dit deel van het huis geen open haard had! In het volgende sms-bericht van de eigenaar kreeg ik bericht dat er een fout was gemaakt en dat ik een schadevergoeding zou krijgen. Net als bij de open haard heb ik nooit enige compensatie gezien. Ze hebben mijn dromen over een leuke verjaardag verpest.
