Sea Roots "Sea Zone"

We loved the quiet location across the road from the sea. The apartment had everything that we needed. It was very tastefully decorated and the fire was helpful for drying our clothes after a particularly wet and windy walk!

Tania & Doug put a lot of care into Sea Roots. Though they live on the property, it is large and we didn't feel like we were sharing. We saw them just enough to feel welcomed to visit the chickens, guinea pigs, and rabbits in the backyard. Being steps from the beach, and having so much space made for an excellent home base. Newly remodeled stone floors gave it a nice feel you don't see in the pictures. Great value. Good people.

Amazing place! The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The coastline is stunning, perfect for long walks without needing to drive anywhere. It’s very quiet, so you’ll sleep wonderfully. Parking is hassle-free. The hosts are incredibly kind and unobtrusive. In winter, you won’t feel cold, as the fireplace works perfectly and keeps the room cozy. The mattresses and pillows are extremely comfortable. I absolutely recommend this place!

Loved this little spot! Everything was so cute and clean! Beautiful property right next to the ocean! It gets cold at night in the winter and the wood stove was a life saver and made the space so cozy! Easy check in and host was really good at communicating. Highly recommend staying here on your next Azores holiday!

Besides of all the things you expect from a covenient accommodation , there were little things like coffee, tea, a bottle of wine...:-) Naturally environment- conscious stay with rest of food going to the chickens or a compost heap in the backyard :-) Barbecue with a sunset was amazing!
