The genuine and earnest approach that made the stay hospitable and warm

It was an amazing stay.

The location (away from Kurseong town), cozy rooms, the staff (especially Aasma and her infectious smile and tireless efforts), the dogs and food.

Nothing really.

Breakfast is good and the location is superb.

We experienced this heaven for three days (the place really is it!). Both the chalets are amazingly designed and they were very clean. Delicious meals served on time and superb hospitality (Special thanks to Asmaan for helping us in and out with every need of ours). The location is literally straight out of a hill painting (not even exaggerating a bit)! And the whole homestay is aptly and beautifully decorated to suit the backdrop. Highly highly recommended, if you want to spend a couple of days in the lap of nature right in Kurseong! Note :- This homestay is located quite high up from Kurseong market but connectivity and roads are very good; and you will feel the real vibe of both the sunkissed serenity and the evening eeriness of Himalayan forest surrounding you!) The accommodation is far up a hill. Unfortunately there was unusual thick cloud when we stayed & we didn't have the benefit of the great views. The host was away and his sister was friendly but spoke little English, although she made us some lovely masala chai on our arrival.

Once it was dark at 6pm when we unfortunately arrived, there was nowhere to eat dinner but in our room, where we had to stay until the morning. There were hairs on the bed sheet. An electric jug but no cups or anything to put in them. Blankets, 1 bath towel and that was it. The walls were grimy.

The host was very friendly and accustomed to our needs. Dinner and breakfast was served at the homestay. The homemade food was very delicious. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location was remote and gave an experience of total bliss.

Room heater was not available,we needed one as we were riding in rain and were completely wet. Google map showed a wrong route for the location,so we had to ride few extra miles up and down the hill to reach.

The host was kickass to say the least, very humble and accommodating and made us feel like we had a friend in a new town. The food was delicious as well.

That we couldn’t stay for another week.
