Great location. Peaceful, log cabin is amazing, I spent a lot of time appreciating how well built the cabin is, logs are huge! Clean, spacious, everything you need.

This is the most beautiful hidden treasure. When we walked in, it was spectacular. Our host Louise introduced me to the pack of furry friends and allowed me to feed them. Despite the wet & windy weather, the Lodge played a comfortable retreat. Will 100% be coming back

"Perfect base to relax exploring southern lakes"

Peaceful location - rural but only few minutes in car to shops. Great base to explore southern Lake District. Beds were very comfortable. Outdoor seating with covered verandah was great with little extras like blanket for the bench seat. Alpacas in nearby field.

The Log cabin with its green roof is wonderful inside is very comfortable and relaxing and the view of the alpacas from the veranda were delightful There was an excellent supermarket nearby which gave us more time to relax

The cabin is a dead spot when it comes to using the phone but if desperate free Wi-Fi is at hand

Great location, views and quiet. Cosy feeling of log cabin. Enjoyed breakfast on verandah. Great to have fully functioning wifi. Comfortable beds, plenty of space. Admired the beautiful wood structures.

More big pans. Vegetarians and Vegans find it hard to find good food when eating out so tend to cook at home.

We liked the beautiful peaceful scenery and area. The log cabin was spot on with plenty to do if you want to. We went to reconnect and rest and recuperate which we did. It was amazing

The only thing we'd have different is a slightly larger fridge.
