The cabin was well equipped and very well presented & clean. The beds were comfortable, good cooking facilities, good quality shower in the bathroom etc. Although we didn't meet the hosts, there was plenty of information provided re check in etc. The hosts also left some fresh milk, tea / coffee etc and a bottle of wine for us.

Very hard to pick any faults here. One minor thing (and I mean very minor), is that there is a motion sensor security light outside the master bedroom window (pear tree cabin) that went off a few times. We like to sleep with the curtains open when we have such a nice view to wake up to, and it was a bit frustrating that the light kept going off in the night due to the wind. It may be better if it was attached to the wall of the house rather than on a post facing into the house, that way the light would be as bright through the window but the path would still be illuminated. Also the small garden / deck area could be improved with some outdoor lighting, as this would have been a lovely area to sit at night. A small fire pit or something would really enhance the space.

We loved our three day stay in our very first log cabin break, it was very clean and cosy, it had lovely views and was very quiet

If I had to find something that I didn’t like it would be the clime into the master bed over a wooden plinth.. It wasn’t that big of a deal really just a bit difficult to get in and out of bed
