The place was very peaceful and the lodge was nice. Needed a bit of tlc in places. Nice you could take your dog. Liked the lodge had an enclosed garden which was good having a dog and also a hot tub which we didn't use as the weather was not great. But lovely and private which we liked.

The main part was the mould on the bathroom ceiling, which surprised me. The other rooms were perfectly fine. Could have had some hangers for your coats. Had to put them on the back of the kitchen seats. Also there wasn't anywhere to hang a towel in the upper toilet but that's just minor niggles. I made reception aware of the mould problem and she was going to investigate it.
