Bed and bedding uncomfortable. Had to wash some cutlery and glasses before using due to fingerprints.

Location in bush setting was stunning and not too far out of town. The fantastic balcony made it feel like paradise.

We loved how relaxing it was, we came up from wellington for a conference that kept us busy during our stay, but my kids and I were always looking forward to going back to this stunning cottage. Even when there were other plans we always decided to stay back and relax at the cottage. You had everything for a family. My kids loved it so much, we want to come back. Thank you so much.

Our stay was beautiful but there were a couple times I had to have a cold shower. Maybe it's our fault having 4 kids there probably meant hot water was limited.

Quaint cottage, easy to find from Auckland airport with Waze/Google maps. Really lovely host. Lots of little perks and convenient bits such as sanitary products and an electric blanket - we underestimated how cold it was going to be at night but they were fully prepared with lovely blankets. We were out all day and they went in and turned the heating on which was a lovely thing to do! There was a fridge, microwave, hot plate, cleaning bits, crockery and utensils which was very handy.

The location is great to hot the area tourist locations. The cottage is quite charming with great furnishings.

The bedroom needs its own heater for the winter. The heating pads on the bed help until you have to get up in the morning.
