I love the Red Rooster. It's quirky, comfortable and quiet, set in a beautiful garden, great views from every window. And the nice bonus of outside space to relax in. A haven in the heat! And even a bookshelf with some good reads...

Absolutely the only thing I could suggest is a little milk for the tea and coffee which is provided. Long-life milk would do fine!

The wood fired stove/fireplace can be smoky if not tendered correctly

"Home from home!"

This is a lovely cottage situated in a large, shady garden. It is interesting and homely with comfy seating and a cute cast iron stove that heats the cottage almost instantly. A really comfortable stay with very friendly hosts who offered us delicious home made soup for supper. We will return to stay for more than just one night. Thanks so much!
