Everything was great, we truly enjoyed our stay. First of all, the view over the dam and the mountains is absolutely breathtaking. The cottage was impeccably clean and well equipped. The bed is wide and with a perfectly firm mattress – we had the best sleep! The cottages are conveniently located near the road leading to Royal Natal and Golden Gate national parks, yet far from any towns, making the area calm and peaceful.

There was no cooking oil and salt/pepper in the kitchen. Also, electric stove and kettle were not handy during an electricity cut. It didn't affect our stay much, but should be noted.

The serenity and the spectacular view of Sterkfontein Dam and R74. Chalet 8 was clean and comfortable.

Nothing at all

Stay was comfortable. Views outstanding. Staff super friendly. Location great for a 3 hour drive from Jhb and close enough for a full day outing at the Royal Natal Park or Clarens.

It would be great to be able to hike on the property to the top of the gorge. The reception should have a sign outside.
