Fuaim na Mara - Self Catering Pod

My daughter and I booked this beautiful pod at short notice. Arriving as it was going dark, we were made so welcome and the pod was lovely and warm. The owners could not have done more to ensure we had everything we needed to settle in quickly. We didn't find anything that we needed that the owners hadn't already thought of and provided. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was so comfortable (I haven't slept so well for ages), the sofa made up to a bed for my daughter and the level of equipment provided was spectacular. It was just perfect. Even the super friendly family cat called to check everything was ok each morning!

Leaving at the end of our 3 days. 😥 We didn't get a chance to use the beautifully made outdoor picnic bench.

Cosy pod, excellent condition and everything is clean and well thought out. The underfloor heating, insulation and window sealing meant it was cosy and dry even on a terrible day of rain and on good days the outside could be lovely. Good bed and sofa, comprehensive cooking pans, crockery and cutlery. Streaming on the TV a big bonus and good WiFi.

If I was being picky slightly better cooking facilities, maybe a cooker that's also a microwave would be the only thing, the rest is perfect.

The pod was very clean and cosy.

Comfortable bed, access to wifi, location is a good base to start driving and exploring the Uist, hosts are exceptionally nice and welcoming. They also helped us when our ferry was cancelled and we needed one more day to stay on island!

Our first time using a clamping pod. Our hosts was lovely, the place was clean and tidy. It was close to the local shop if you needed anything also the hotel if you want to go for dinner. It was in the middle Uist making it easy to travel in any direction. A quiet location.
