Fuaim na Mara - Self Catering Pod

Nice wee pod in Liniclate and only 5 mins walk to the Dark Island Hotel which serves lovely food. There is a Co-op only 5 mins drive away too which is handy! The hosts met us on arrival and were very friendly and accommodating.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work during our stay, so couldn’t watch Netflix ect

The pod was close to a supermarket and a beach on walking distance. It had a central location so it was easy to access the main road and travel to places we wanted to see.

The pod wasn't ready when we arrived, so we went out for dinner and after that the room was ready. The internet wasn't working which was a shame.

Bijou, well appointed and clean residence.

I know it’s difficult and this is probably down to two old Codgers bringing too much stuff but storage is very limited and we lived out of the back of the car. In short, we made it work for us and, despite some iffy weather, we had a good time. The internet carefully avoids showing the house adjacent and I wouldn’t describe it as a beachside pod. We were surprised that our hosts didn’t introduce themselves to us.

Central, pub / hotel was in walking distance , fuel , shops beach close by .

Small cosy place. Everything functions and was comfortable. Quiet location. Nice sunset out of the window.

The quality of the pod is excellent. Easy to find and easy check in. Host was very helpful.

I think a welcome pack with some basics such as milk and bread.

Super clean, comfortable and well thought out. Everything we needed for our two nights and kitchen and bathroom facilities fab!

The location at Creagorry is a perfect mid point for exploring both North and South Uist. You couldn't ask for a better supplied pod, everything we could possibly need was in there and we enjoyed a lovely 2 night break from our camper. The pod itself is in rural location off a quiet lane, with fields to the rear and side and a bungalow to the other side and another across the road. We loved the fact that sheep and young lambs were in the field next to the pod and loved the location. Not aware of any amenities within walking distance but there was a petrol station and supermarket within a very short drive.

Nothing, no complaints at all.

The pod was so clean and spacious and had everything we needed, couldn't have asked for more, thank you.
