The size of the house was nice and comfortable.

We were a little disappointed as the house felt “used” and definitely not as good as in photos. On the first floor it smelled like someone had smoked cigarettes in the house. Some amenities weren’t working that well, for example, water in the third floor shower wasn’t going away properly and some cupboard doors were falling apart. We were having a family vacation with children, but this house is suitable for adults/parties.

Fantastic peaceful location just a few miles from the charming village of Zakopane. It was away from the crowds in the village with fantastuc views of the Tatra mountains in the distance. The hiking was close by, just a short 30 minute drive to get to the National park. The chateau was extremely charming and spacious, and the deck was great.

While i loved the location of the villa, last one on a very narrow and steep road, i would imagine a stay in the winter could make the driveway a challenge to negotiate. The summer stay was fantastic and the road was not an issue!

Huge house to fit our group of 12

Poor condition and lack of maintenance, the furniture was broken, lights didn’t work, shower leaked into our bedroom and down into the kitchen, no firewood, the microwave did not work and the heating did not work. We travelled from Australia with our friends (12 of us in total) and the house was not at all as advertised on booking.com and the owners only responded when we lodged a complaint with booking.com otherwise no one would answer our call or return our msg.

Big venue, quiet neighborhood, excellent view on high mountains, exceptional collection of books with a lot of surprises, decent privacy, elastic host, excellent contact, sauna working well.

I'd like to see playable ping pong equipment, it is not a big effort to buy 4 new rackets. The same with billiard, only one stick was working, the balls were damaged. Also some chairs were almost destroyed, however there were more than enough chairs, armchairs and anything to sit on. Those are minor issues for small pack of adults, but I can imagine it would be somewhat problematic for kids. Anyway I am considering to visit this place another time.
