Montagu Hostel & Bar

1. The location is perfect, it’s right near to literally everything you would need during your stay. Also, train station is a good 15 mins walk, I walked twice with my trolley bag, very convenient. 2. The beds and room orientation is a little different from usual hostels but interesting, I enjoyed my stay. 3. Bathrooms are well equipped.

Not sure how often the passcodes update, would be nice to change them frequently for safety purpose.

Nice property. Great location. Amazing people. Clean, cozy, quiet when it needed to and also very friendly and social.

3 floor. Only stairs. If you take too much stuff you must leave it on the storage room (basement)

Man konnte die Zimmertür nicht abschließen. Extrem laut vom Nachbarhaus das Abzugsgebläse konnten die ganze Nacht nicht schlafen. Hatten unser Zimmer bei der Gemeinschaftsküche wenn man da mal auf Toilette musste oder ins Bad war kein Vorhang oder Schiebetüre zur Toilette oder Bad. Hat sich immer komplett an ziehen müssen weil irgendwelche Typen in der Gemeinschaftsküche waren. In jedem Stockwerk waren Nacktfotos von Männern in Pose.... man hätte dieses Hostel mit einem Puff vergleichen können... wir verstehen jetzt auch warum dort keine Kinder erlaubt sind. Wir sind bestimmt nicht verklemmt aber es enttäuscht uns schon sehr, dass dieses nicht in der Beschreibung von diesem " Hostel " nicht erwähnt wurde. Wir hatten eigentlich für September nochmal 2 Buchungen in diesem Hostel gemacht, aber nach diesem Erlebnis haben wir diese beiden Buchungen sofort storniert!!

The facilities were clean and private even in the mixed dorm. People were super friendly and social, highly recommend!

Only negative thing was that that was no microwave in the kitchen.
