Planinska Koliba ABA-TARA

We have stayed the second time in Tara and this location was great! Clean, far away in the mountains with the separate courtyard, very cozy house. We had opportunity to watch the night sky and stars every night. We stayed with the cat and this house is very comfortable to stay with the animals

Nothing, all was great

Peace and quiet. We were all alone during our stay as the other lodge in the vicinity was empty. It was nice and confortable stay, the cabin has almost everything you need. Upper floors with beds have mosquito nets on windows which is great since the lodge is close to woods. Marko was great, ready to help if anything was neded. The new road from Mitrovac is asfalted and only last 200m to the cabin is macadam but its in good condition. Sekulici is about 1km away, you can find a small grocery store there and a restourant (which we havent visited). From the store you can take the dirt road that will lead you to the Sekulic viewpoint with excelent view of the lake Zaovine.

Everything was great.

The house is nice, quiet place away from the road. There is an excellent restaurant nearby. Nearby there is an observation tower from where you can see the mountains. The owner is always happy to help. The forest here is beautiful, interesting, especially when it is rainy - the clouds are right on the ground and you can see a heavy fog. It's easy to meet some animals here - rabbit, roe deer, snails.

It was spring and it was cold at night. The stove and air conditioner saved the situation. But they are a little tricky to use.
