Katun Mokra accommodation & horseback riding

We are totally in love ❤️ Beautiful surrounding, well equipped house, quiet, special to be without WiFi, awesome hiking and horseriding. Boris is a very good host, we had interesting conversations. We were also happy to meet his wife Ana. She prepared a typical Montenegrin dish for us.

Nothing, this place is paradise for people who like to be in nature.

The property is located in a quite village and is an excellent starting point for hikes in the Žijovo Mountain.

The door of one of the bedrooms was missing

It was the best week away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The surroundings are stunning and it is a perfect place to recharge your batteries. Boris was a great help with all our questions 🤠

No ability to purchase local food as advertised.

Boris and his wife were so welcoming and kind. They really made our stay wonderful. Cottages are comfortable and clean with all the basic amenities. Location is stunning and fabulous with kids as they can play and run around very safely. We definitely recommend staying here, we will be back!

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. Only recommendation would be to add some top sheets to the beds and maybe a shower curtain. But these were minor things that really didn’t bother us.

Stunning location in near isolation, immaculately kept and with a lovely owner. Amazing walks from the doorstep of a traditional hamlet and the opportunity of a unique horse riding experience. Waking to see cows, horses, dogs and cats on your doorstep is different! Boris is really helpful and has lots of information and advice about the area. No WiFi in the house, but if you really need it you can access local network from a rock a minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend Ribnjak restaurant a 20 minute drive back towards the main road - the food is really, really good. Access roads are a little daunting but you get the hang of them and the locals are very good about helping with passing, just stock up on provisions before you go. If you’re a light sleeper I would suggest you close the windows at night as the cows have bells!

We stayed 3 nights with our family of 5. The house is basic but has everything you need. Very clean! We loved the views, the rest, nature, the many facilities for the kids, everything. There is no wifi but we didn’t miss it a bit. Boris’ hospitality is great - does everything to make you feel comfortable in the house. Horseback riding was amazing. Would love to come back!

The hosts were very nice and welcoming. The horse back riding was really fun.

Peaceful, natural surroundings. Adequate instalations. Great place for making trips around (hiking, etc). Very favorable price of accomodation
