Hostel Roraima

Not much. Ac worked great. Staff wasn’t there much but she was helpful when I asked questions

My room was filthy. Bug droppings all over the bedding. Pillows were old and bad. No towel, just a top sheet was given. Floors were dirty. No hot water. House is old and dark. There was used toilet paper in my bathroom and it wasn’t from me. No reason for anyone to stay here if the room isn’t cleaned

Very good location and the receptionist was so attentive

Easy to get to from airport - $10 Real (about $2 USD) Uber ride. Clean rooms. Staff are courteous. Towel available for $5 Real extra

I booked a "Budget Double Room." I missed the fact that this "Budget Double Room," does not include AC. I assumed it had because the less expensive "Mixed Dormitory Room" has AC. Anyway, this was my fault. Don't make the mistake I did.

Kitchen with everything you need, cold water dispenser, really a place you can stay for longer.

I had booked a single room with a booking.com discount. When I got there, I was told the room was already taken (the hostel looked quite empty to me), and I was offered a bed in a dorm instead, albeit a completely empty one. Still a bit disappointing to get something else than what you booked.

The hostel has a homey feeling. The receptionist is helpful & all the guests are friendly towards each other. Kitchen utensils are ample for cooking. The dorm is quite spacious.

Theres a bit of unpleasant smell in the toilet perhaps due to a clogged @ old sewage. There is no gated parking so you have to park on the street.
