Chalet Sint Barbara

Was een gezellig chalet waar alles aanwezig was voor een topweekend We komen zeker nog eens terug

Wij hebben geen slechte ervaringen

Zo een aangenaam huisje, mooi gelegen en zeer rustig! We voelden ons direct thuis. We gaan zeker nog eens terugkomen!! De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk, we vroegen nog een nacht te blijven met een berichtje, was onmiddellijk ok!!!

We hebben een paar leuke dagen gehad. Jullie hebben een mooi en gezellig en rustig plekje en toch overal dichtbij. We hebben veel gefietst prachtige omgeving. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid van het chalet echt OVERAL is aan gedacht en dat voelt heel fijn. Verder is het zo knus ingericht, ook buiten erg leuk. Badkamer en bedden heel goed! Leuk dat er attenties waren bij aankomst. De overkapping super!

The chalet's facilities and supplies exceeded our expectations. Before we arrived, we received clear instructions from the hosts. Upon our arrival, the chalet's heating was already on so it was a warm, cosy welcome from the cold weather. There was a folder with practical information such as names and contact numbers of restaurants, vet clinics, laundry service, etc. You name it, it's there! And as wonderful souvenirs, the hosts gave us artworks they made. Like the folder, the facilities were well thought out. The hosts really focused on the guests' needs. We only got foodstuff from the supermarket and that's it. The chalet is wonderfully decorated and the beds were comfortable. The interior is clean and well-kept. You can go hiking outside the chalet park. It's about a 10-minute drive to the city centre and only about a 30-minute to Maastricht (NL). We're impressed! Plus the hosts were friendly, helpful, and excellent in communication.

The cottage was so comfortable and quaint. It has everything you need! It feels more like a home than one of the newer fancier places being built in the park.

Wonderful stay! We were well received by our friendly hosts from the beginning and that we know it'd be a good start. Everything you need is provided but we particularly love the lighting "system"(including standing lights, spots, battery-operating lights and even several candles for indoor/outdoor) - you'd create easily different modes for evening mood or late-afternoon mood. We also appreciate the pellet burner which adds some extra home touch to this authentic chalet experience. And thank you for the nicely-hand-made artistic presents as the souvenirs. There are several bakeries and restaurants nearby but we prefer our lovely/well-equipped kitchen. All in all, we had a wonderful time during our annual Hoge Kempen National Park visit.
