Sunset Retreat Lodge with Hot Tub

Everything! There was nothing not to like. The lodge was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was peaceful and tranquil and we only wish we had booked a longer stay.

There was nothing we didnt like.

So easy to find. Dedicated parking. Spotlessly clean. Really well appointed. Gorgeous views. Set in a stunning garden. Pub nearby. Loved the summerhouse. Comfiest beds

Sofas are lovely but not that comfortable. Hot tub bubbles weren’t that powerful

There was nothing not to like about this lodge 😊 The overall accommodation was excellent. Very cosy and comfortable with an excellent layout providing everything you needed for a relaxing break. Beautiful views from the lounge to the open fields with a patio door leading out to a small garden seating area which appeared to get the sunshine 🌞 most of the day. A door off the main bedroom led out to the hot tub which was a lovely way to relax after our daily walks. A short walk along path at the side of the lodge takes you to the Beach hut which is another way to relax and enjoy the sea views or take a stroll along the beach. Carsethorn is a nice village, local people very friendly. There are no shops, just the local pub/restaurant The Steamboat Inn where we received a warm welcome. Food served is excellent and they have events on some evenings. We will definitely be returning for another relaxing break later this year 👍

The lodge, hot tub and beach hut were all amazing. The lodge was perfect for us, 2 friends with a bedroom and bathroom each. Nice kitchen with everything you need. The hot tub is large and enclosed and was great in the evening watching the stars. The beach hut is right on the beach which was perfect for a walk with the dog. I’ve already booked to stay again.

The lodge was excellent and cosy, comfy beds and great to have two shower rooms especially after a dip in the Hot Tub 😁 that is a real bonus. Kitchen is well equipped. Having the beach house was great a lovely place to chill out. Oh and The Steamboat Inn is well worth a visit!
