Sunset Retreat Lodge with Hot Tub

The lodge was beautifully furnished and very clean. It had everything you needed for your stay. The private hot tub was a bonus as was the summer house looking out onto the Solway Firth. It was very relaxing sitting either outside or inside the summer house just gazing out at the water. Most important of all was that it was dog friendly and my little dog loved it. The Steamboat Inn just 5 minutes walk from the lodge served lovely food and was also dog friendly which was ideal as we didn't have to drive to find somewhere for food.

The accommodation was comfortable you don't feel your not home. The location by the sea gave me time to do my meditation.

The hostess was super friendly and laid back x the cabin was so comfortable x the hottub was such a treat x the beach house was super relaxing x the wee pub next door Steamboats food was delectable x can't rate this place enough x 10/10 xxx

Absolutely loved the location. Hot tub was a real bonus. Susan was a very responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend this unique place.

Loved everything about the location, lodge, beach hut and hot tub. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like!

Lovely place to relax and enjoy life

Fantastic location, very peaceful around the nature. (Birds,cows). Also, we had a great weather . Definitely the place is worth to remember and return . Hot tube was great addition to the lodge.

One down side, I didn't want to drink coffee for start , because the kettle put me off. The inside was limescaled so I had to clean it myself with vinegar to be able to use it.
