La cocina no tiene microondas ni horno. Entiendo que en parte es porque las caravanas particulares tienen su propio equipamiento, pero para quienes nos alojamos en las caravanas del hostel faltarían algunas cosas más.

Funky idea, but also the people running it are kind. A great stop biking and you can launder things and clean up to get back into the mountains.

L emplacement était très propre, les sanitaires et les caravanes aussi. Les lieux aux alentours étaient très chouette. La balade a la cascade était très sympa. Le bistrot a l étage était top et les gens sympa. On avait pas compris qu’il y avait un restaurant, dommage ça avait l air super chouette.

Même si l on savait que c’était une nuit de camping indoor. La nuit fut très courte du aux autres « campeurs » qui n’ont pas rescapé les horaires. Il était bien noté qu à partir de 22h il fallait arrêter de faire du bruit. Mais la fête a continué jusqu’à 2h du matin. Même si on est pas les derniers à faire la fête, on sait aussi respecter les consignes. Entre les bouteilles d alcool vide devant les caravanes, le vomi dans les douches, le réveil fut compliqué et la journée moto aussi. Pas certain qu’on réitérera l expérience à cause de ce genre de personnes. On nous a tout de même offert le café le lendemain. Ça nous a aidé à tenir la matinée. :)

I wanted to explore the black forest, but without staying in a bigger city or paying bigger city prices. This was perfect! The location is perfect as it is in the center of town -- very close to the waterfalls and a nice cafe! There is a bus from the train station to the hotel (as it is an uphill walk). Look for the times on the DB app and not google maps. The showers and bathrooms were all fine and the beds were okay! They give you the card to use all trains in the area for free.

We stayed a little longer so I would have been liked to be told I could replace my towel. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.
