We were traveling the Alaska Highway with our two dogs, and this one night stop was 100% the highlight of our trip. The hot meal personally delivered by the host was just fantastic. The cabin was warm, cozy and clean. It is pretty off the grid, including a 75 yard (more or less) walk from the car, but after 400 miles of driving, we welcomed the walk!

Nothing. We very much look forward to another stay on our way back to Alaska in the spring.

The food was delicious. We had a pork and veggie dinner, and eggs with toast for breakfast. Orange juice and milk were also provided.

It had the most beautiful view from the front balcony with a walkway down to the water. Kristi made dinner for us as well. The bed was comfy, the house was clean and we had everything we needed, plus room for our dogs. It was absolutely amazing

The water in the shower had two settings, freezing or scalding hot. There wasn’t really an in between option so showering was hard but other than that it was great

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed! The water of the lake was so clean and great for a cool swim, my friend took the canoe out and loved it! The cabin was spacious and so cozy, best of all was the delicious food Kristy prepared for us made from the fish she caught in the lake! The bed was also super cozy and the fire kept us warm all night! It was so peaceful! We also loved the memoir that was available for purchase! It tells you ALL OF THE LORE about the cabin, Kristy, and her bad ass mom! It made the cabin even more magical and you can see just how much Kristy pours into this place! 10/10

I didn’t like that we stayed only one night… I could have stayed for a week!
