The very reactive, nice, and helping owner !! We would've stayed longer were it not for our very scheduled tour, plus the accomodation was highly suitable for more people than a couple. It was somehow expensive, btw !!

Staying on the mountain, beside the forest in the cosy cabin was fabulous. I SO recommend it! The other nice thing is you are only 2 minutes from the Etna Tour meeting point at Piano Provenzana, so no mad dash in the morning! I was with a group of friends, staying in various locations. We all agreed, the night in the cabin felt like a holiday within a holiday.

New and complete equipment. I especially like sauna. When the weather is cold, it is much more comfortable to use a sauna.

The nearby restaurant is closed. If you want to eat, you have to drive at least half an hour before the restaurant is open.

"Great facility for hikers."

Angelo who manages the property devoted a lot of time and effort to finding a tour for us to go up z Mt. Etna at short notice. The kitchen was well stocked with food especially breakfast materials. Great location close to the meeting point for touring Mt. Etna.

There was no restaurant nearby for dinner.

Rifugio Ginepro was one of our best accomodations ever. Angelo was very hospitable and show us everything what we needed. One day we would like to come back...this time for winter.
